SRG Rod Ends and Spherical Bearings are bearing elements on a plain bearing basis. They are standardized according DIN 648 / ISO 6126 and CETOP. They are used for static and dynamic power transmission, and have proved their worth in millions of instances.

They are supplied in metric measurements and inch bore diameters and are available as relubricatable or maintenance free parts which are also available in complete stainless steel (NIRO, 100% non-ferrous metal free) version.

Sealmaster two and three piece rod end bearing housing designs have been optimized for overall strength. This housing advantage and variety of outer race materials including brass, steel, DELRIN*, and PTFE liners provide a wide selection of application solutions. Sealmaster rod end bearings can be joined together or connected with a threaded rod or tube as linkage assemblies for flexibility in motion transfer. In addition Sealmaster rod end bearings can accommodate angular misalignment to provide ease in assembly and smooth motion transfer in a variety of applications. 

Sealmaster spherical plain bearings perform a similar function as rod end bearings and must be supported in housing. Sealmaster spherical plain nsk bearings are designed with a variety of outer race materials including steel, heat treated steel, bronze, stainless steel and heat treated stainless steel, for flexibility in a wide variety of application requirements. In addition Sealmaster spherical plain bearings can accommodate angular misalignment to provide ease in assembly and smooth motion transfer in a variety of applications.Delrin is believed to be the trademark and/or trade name of E.I. SRG features five lines of metric rod end bearings. These range from the economy/commercial through to the high strength AM/AW-M series. All feature one-piece, full-swage steel raceway construction. Dimensions follow DIN 648 schedule K. All series with the exception of the CM/CW-M are available in fine thread styles as well.Products range in bore and thread size from 3mm through 30mm. On most series, PTFE liners are available.

Rod ends with external or male body threads of ntn bearings. Standard catalog series include products with either low carbon or high strength heat treated alloy steel bodies. Race materials include low carbon, or heat treated alloy steel. Ball are made from either sintered or alloy steel and are precision ground and heat treated. Threads are rolled to appropriate classifications. MM/MW and AM/AW series are available with PTFE lined raceways, for smooth backlash-free fit.
