Plastic bearings are available in standard inch and metric sizes. Plastic race bearings can be made in special sizes and types in small and large quantities. Plastic radial ball bearings offer many advantages over standard steel bearings, which include:

SANBURG plastic ball bearings are well suited for other applications like wash down areas, where equipment is frequently wet and prone to rusting with conventional bearings. Corrosive environments, where bearings will be subject to chemical abrasiveness, are also a good fit for plastic ball bearings. Whether you need to move relatively low loads and RPM, or the heaviest industrial equipment, SANBURG has the right bearing to keep your operation moving along. Even if your equipment is located in such a way to make bearing lubrication access difficult, it’s no problem because our bearings are self lubricating.
SANBURG manufactures plastic race ball bearing types in single and double row radial, 3- piece thrust, four point contact, thin section, skatewheel ball bearing, insert ball bearing with plastic mounted blocks in either flange or pillow type.
Plastic balls are an effective, economical substitute in low load bearings, agitators in aerosol spray cans, and in lightweight check valves. Plastic is lower in cost and used where weight is not an issue, or a lightweight material is desired. SANBURG can supply plastic balls in Acetal, Celcon®, nylon, Delrin® and Polypropylene. Plastic ball surface finishes may vary from coarse to highly polished, according to customer specification. Various colors and fillers are also available. Plastic balls are offered in a range of sizes and tolerances (grades).
