When the axis of the shaft and the bearing mounting surface are perpendicular to each other, "flange bearings" are used. There are three kinds that are available in the market. Each kind will have 2, 3 or 4 holes. This is to offer precise mounting fits method and load support. The kind with 2 holes is diamond shaped where the top and bottom ends are where the 2 holes located. The kind with 3 holes are triangularly distributed and the one with 4 are squarely distributed. It may be round but the distribution of the 4 holes are equally done as the corners of a square. When choosing what you need, it is very important to know the size of the shaft, the radial and load it can hold.

The bearing are wrapped from a cold formed homogenous bronze(CuSn8) with exceptional material properites.The Standard sizes are fitted with diamond shaped lubrication indents  in the bearing surface.These indents serve as lubricant  reservoirs to rapidly build up a lubrication film at the start of movement and thereafter reduce the running friction.The material is suitable for construction and agricultural machinery applications.
