NTN-Bower bearings will be featured in an upcoming episode of “Motorhead Garage” to highlight bearing technology. As part of the “big rig” series, the episode, hosted by Sam Memmolo and Dave Bowman, will debut at 11:30 a.m. EST Sunday, Oct. 2 on Fox Sports Net (FSN).

4T bearings are manufactured from a special grade of case hardened steel and heat treated for maximum useful life.Sized from 0.6250" (16 mm) inside diameter to 10.1250" (257 mm) outside diameter. The NTN-Bower story began in 1904 when R. F. Bower of Dayton, Ohio patented his newly designed thrust controlling roller timken bearing. The new Bower bearing proved extremely successful in controlling the problem of horse-drawn carriages losing wheels while making turns at high speeds. As a result, in 1907 several Dayton Ohio businessmen became interested in the new product and organized the Bower Roller Bearing Company with $100,000 capital for its operation.
