Flanged miniature bearings are available open, shielded or sealed.with bore sizes as small as 1mm. The smaller sizes are sometimes referred to as instrument bearings. Available in SAE52100 chrome steel and AISI440C or KS440 (ACD34/X65Cr13) stainless steel, these metric sized deep groove radial flanged miniature bearings can withstand heavy radial loads and moderate thrust loads in both directions. Flanged miniature bearings have an outer ring flange to facilitate location in a housing.
Many of these flanged miniature bearings can be supplied to order with ceramic balls (hybrid bearings). Most sizes are available in stainless steel or passivated stainless steel for more corrosive environments.and flange ball bearing can be supplied double flanged.
Flanged Bearings are built from cast, sintered or cladded bimetal strips. These are hard, resistant to low energy and oil corrosion. These are appropriate at camshaft ends. We manufacture high precision engine bearings or bimetal bearings with steel backed Bronze Lining catering to the customers' requirement.
The NSK bearing unit is a combination of a radial ball bearing, seal, and a housing of high-grade cast iron or pressed steel, which comes in various shapes. The outer surface of the bearing and the internal surface of the housing are spherical, so that the unit is self-aligning. The inside construction of the ball bearing for the unit is such that steel balls and retainers of the same type as in series 62 and 63 of the deep groove ball bearing are used. A duplex seal consisting of a combination of an oil-proof synthetic rubber seal and a slinger is provided on both sides.
